  • Jason Suarez

Hi my name is Jason Suarez. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I ran in high school and D1 college. I picked up a camera 13 years ago because I wanted to stay connected to the competitive running scene post-collegiately. Since then I’ve been able to create my own brand - NotAfraid2Fail - which has taken me around the world from training camps in Kenya to covering the Olympic games in Tokyo, and most recently covering my second World Championship games in Eugene, OR. I’m also the co-founder of Long Distance, which started as a collection of stories and photographs told and taken during the pandemic. Today the brand operates as an independent publishing company helping writers, photographers and runners share their stories.
